THE MOR STUDIOS

Architectural Paintings

by Susan Stuart

My interest in architecture began when my husband and I moved into a 19th century row house in Albany, NY to begin renovating this historic home. I began to appreciate the aesthetics of new building materials. Today I continue to be captivated by the challenge of abstracting architectural images from new construction sites. This series is about rebuilding and promise with a focus on compositional elements found within urban structures.
